Nutrition in the kitchen for elite athletes

The Sports Tomorrow Congress ends with a bang, in the kitchen! Join us for the Gastrosport track, a day filled of putting sports nutrition into practise.

Gastrosport will be hosted by industry-leading chefs and nutritionists from top clubs and organisations. Expect food stations and workshops onsite where you can learn how to make dishes as well as trying them!

We start off the day with a warm, and tasty, welcome from the FC Barcelona nutrition team to get fuelled up for the day ahead.

Topics explored in the Gastrosport track include:

  • Recipes for players. Including a focus on plant-based recipes, functional and recovery recipes, as well as easy to digest recipes.
  • Transforming food habits for players.
  • Vegetable biodynamic philosophy.
  • A top player menu – practical approaches.
  • A talk from the Spanish Football National Team’s nutritionist: “Nutritionist and chefs working together.”
  • Chef food shopping list.
